NewCode provides an industry leading modernization technology that enables re-engineering and migration of legacy applications all the way to the Cloud.

NewCode’s upgrade process, patented since 2004, ensures that modernized code can utilize the object oriented methodology afforded by the target language, a superior approach to the line-by-line converters offered by competitors.

2. NewCode invites you to take your 1,000 line, free trial of our VB migration tools. The NewCode tools provide extensions to Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008, IBM Rational Software Architect and Eclipse for legacy Visual Basic migration to .NET and Java. You will need to have Microsoft Visual Studio, IBM Rational or Eclipse pre-installed.

How It Works
After registering your details, download the NewCode extension, follow the installation instructions and run the NewCode extension within Visual Studio, IBM Rational or Eclipse. When you select legacy files to upgrade, the NewCode wizard counts the number of code lines in each file and uses a Web service to authenticate you and authorise your conversion. Note: the only information uploaded to our server is your username, password and a number which is a count of the code lines in your files. We never upload your legacy files or your code.
