May 01, 2010: NewCode delivers ReelTracker migration for SuperBowl
coverage.
NewCode has successfully delivered the migration of 'ReelTracker' a multitrack video editing software suite from VB6 to VB.NET.
The converted ReelTracker was used by CBS Sports to cover the SuperBowl and the Final Four.
According to Jim Lockridge of CBS Sports "SuperBowl was a big success for ReelTracker mostly thanks to you, in the end ReelTracker tracked all the
tape elements that were used in the 5 hr Pregame show as well as all the sponsored elements for the show. There was no down time at all, and it was used in multiple edit rooms seamlessly. Everyone was very pleased with how the new ReelTracker worked. I wanted to especially thank you for your input and guidance in making the decision to converting all the database calls to ADO.Net."

PERTH - June 09 2009 - NewCode has been awarded a contract by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to migrate Microsoft Visual Basic and Oracle Forms applications on behalf of a major customer in Australia. Microsoft's Ronan Geraghty and NewCode's Peter Owens talk about how to accelerate
moving VB6 legacy code to the .NET platform with NewCode. NewCode were one of Microsofts
partners for the launch of Visual Studio 2008 in February, and have developed a
VB6 to VB.NET and C# migration tool for Visual Studio 2008 / 2005 which offers a
different approach to the VB6 migration wizard from Microsoft.
